There are a variety of ways to attract the wild birds. A safe place to feed and food they like is the easiest way. Bird feeders are perfect for providing food for them. They can be especially useful for the birds in the winter when they can’t find natural foods.
Set up feeding stations around the garden with different species favorite foods. Finches love thistle seeds so you can buy a specially designed feeder to hold these tiny seeds. You can purchase bird feeders specially designed for goldfinches, woodpeckers and hummingbirds. Place them somewhere safe and close to your birdhouse.
